Q) What do you feed your puppies/adults?
A) Purina Pro Plan Purina is a proven, long standing company(85+ years) and they employ a staff of over 400
Veterinarians, Behaviorists and Nutritionists and they also do feed trials. I have, for the most part, fed
Purina Pro Plan ALS Sport Performance 30/20 exclusively for close to 30 years. I have occasionally tried
other foods with litters, but my adults have always eaten Purina Pro Plan. Babies are started out on soaked/
mashed Sport Performance 30/20 and dry Purina Pro Plan Focus Puppy Toy Breed Chicken & Rice. The Toy
Breed Puppy is removed as soon as the babies can handle the bigger pieces of the Performance food. I do not
recommend, nor will I guarantee any animal that the new owners choose to feed a homemade/raw diet to. A
person truly has to know what they are doing or they are going to cause great harm to the puppy/dog. I am
not a fan of grain-free foods nor do I recommend feeding any of the new "boutique" type foods that have
popped up over night and have no proven track record. If for any reason you decide to switch your puppies
food from what we are feeding him/her, please wait for several weeks. They are already stressed from
leaving our home and moving into a new home and switching food will possibly only add to that stress and
cause issues. Wait until they are completely settled in and are reliably eating well. Please remember to
